Di Sodium PhosphateDisodium Phosphate (DSP) is also known as sodium hydrogen phosphate, or sodium phosphate dibasic. This inorganic compound has the formula of Na2HPO4. It is a water-soluble white powder with pH between 8.0 and 11.0. It is developed by the neutralization process of phosphoric acid with sodium hydroxide. It is also developed commercially in a two-step process. It is produced by treating dicalcium phosphate with sodium bisulfate that forms a precipitate calcium sulfate. In the second step, the solution of monosodium phosphate is incompletely neutralized. This is provided in huge quantities according to the demands of the clients in pure and natural form.
