Product Description
Since the inception, we are are supplying and trading Sodium Thiosulphate. This product is widely used in Iodometric applications, photographic processing, and gold extraction and as a component in hand warmers. This chemical is also commonly called as thio-sulphate, this chemical is a colourless crystalline compound in appearance and is more familiar as the penta-hydrate, Na2S2O3,5H2O, an efflorescent, monoclinic crystalline substance also called sodium hypo-sulphite or "hypo." Its chemical formula is Na2S2O3 and is known for its accurate composition and high pH value.

Uses of Sodium Thiosulfate Powder :-
To remove chlorine from solns according to the eq. Na2S2O3 4Cl2 5H2O 2NaHSO4 8 HCL and Na2S2O3 2 HCL.
As "antichlor" in bleaching of paper pulp, as fixer in photography. For extraction of silver from ores as mordant in dyeing and printing textiles: reducer in chrome dyeing manufacture leather bleaching bone, straw, ivory also as reagent in analytical chemistry.
